BV5000 is a 3D mechanical scanning sonar that delivers clear, high‑resolution images of underwater terrain, structures, and targets — even under extremely low‑visibility conditions. Built with a compact, lightweight housing, it is easy to deploy and operate, and integrates seamlessly with FindROV for one‑click generation of underwater 3D point clouds. Its curved transducer, paired with an integrated mechanical gimbal, enables not only sector scanning but also full spherical coverage. As the first sonar to offer laser‑scan‑like 3D capability underwater, BV5000 can be seamlessly integrated with traditional laser‑scan imagery.
