P360 Working Principle
P360 emits a narrow beam via a rotating transducer to receive echoes, generating a 360° image with up to 50 m range, similar to weather radar scans.
360° Circular Scanning for Rapid Target Detection
P360 can perform full 360° scans to quickly locate surrounding targets. Once a target is detected, the scanning range can be narrowed down for more precise sector scanning.
P360 Beam Emission Principle
P360’s scanning process is comparable to using a flashlight in the dark—only the area illuminated by the beam is visible, while the rest remains in darkness.
Like a flashlight beam, P360’s acoustic beam has a defined horizontal and vertical spread—referred to as the beam pattern. This beam acoustically “illuminates” the underwater environment for imaging.
